
The Fax Partnership is focused on economic development, business attraction and retention, district marketing and clean & safe initiatives. The Partnership is a 501 (c) (3) organization formed in 2006. Funding comes from the Denver Office of Economic Development, grants, special events and our business/community partners. Our board is comprised of district business and property owners, economic development professionals and representatives from market-area neighborhoods. They meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the East Montclair Community Center, 6740 East Colfax Avenue.
Colfax Avenue is the country’s longest main street, with a rich and varied history. Much has changed (and much hasn’t), since Playboy magazine called it "the longest, wickedest street in America." That’s why we like it. Here are more reasons:

The Fax Partnership has two part-time contract staff members:
Hilarie Portell, executive director,manages economic development, business attraction/retention, district marketing and other initiatives. Portell was on the executive team of the Lowry Redevelopment Authority from 1996 to 2007 and owns Portell Works, a consulting firm advancing urban districts, downtowns, and development projects.
Sarah Hader, program manager, handles communications, marketing and events. She worked as an aide to retired District 5 Councilwoman Marcia Johnson from 2006 to 2011, providing outreach to East Colfax businesses and residents on a variety of local issues.
