We here at  the Fax Partnership are dedicated to supporting our local businesses. As COVID-19 alters our daily lives at the moment, we are working hard to ensure the foundation for local businesses in the East Colfax area.

Below is an exstensive list of active resources for small businesses owners and employees who need assistance now.

  • Small Business Majority The small business majority is providing business support webinars.You can take part of these webinars here.
  • Denver City Microloans Visit this link or contact DEDO’s (Denver Economic Development Opportunity) Business Development team at 720-913-1999 for more information.
  • Colorado Small Business Response Resources The Colorado Small Business Development Center network (SBDC) is here to help businesses affected by recent disasters in Colorado, including how to respond to the current COVID-19 health crisis.
  • SBA Emergency Small Business Loans Small Business Guidance & Loan Resources US Small Business Association Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program. The SBA working directly with state Governors to provide targeted, low-interest loans to small businesses and non-profits that have been severely impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.   • Work Share Program Businesses that have lowered hours for workers can get state help to make up their salary difference. See if they can help you here.
  • Colorado Restaurant Association Colorado resources and updates for local restaurants. Stay updated here.
  • Restaurant Promotion Help Restaurants that are still delivering can be listed/promoted free here.
  • Mi Casa Resource Center – Business Pathways Mi Casa’s building is currently closed, however, they can still contacted for assistance. You can text 720-605-6609 for more information about Business Pathways during closure.
  • CDC Safety Guidance The latest CDC health and safety guidance for protecting workers.

Financial Assistance/Unemployment for individuals

  • Service and Tip Workers Fund This is an emergency fund to provide temporary cash gifts to workers as funding becomes available.  Those seeing. help must fill out the form on their website.
  • Expanded Unemployment Claims in Colorado Check the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment website for change to state unemployment laws. Tip – hit “save porgress” button often because it has been crashing more often with the increased traffic.
